FRIDAY THE 20TH OF NOVEMBER – DAY AT THE TRACK!
MV Agusta Owners exclusive “MV Agusta Exhibition Day” at the Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park. The team at BMMP and TR20 have organised us to get out on the track on alternate sessions with the Porsche GT Cup practice day! We will have our own pit garage and be a part of an amazing day with some seriously exclusive race cars. How it will work is that we will get bike sessions in between their sessions (e.g. we have the track to ourselves during our sessions). The cool thing is it’s just the MV Owners who have been invited along, and there will be plenty of other things to see on the day as well. Click here to book your day at BMMP.
Unveiling the MV Agusta F4 Claudio
Being unveiled to our group for the very first time in NZ, The MV Agusta F4 Claudio will make an appearance on the day, fitted with its full race kit. It’s owner is looking forward to testing the bike around the track as well.
Then it’s back home to get cleaned up and group BBQ the MV HQ.
A note regarding insurance at Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park:
Each motorcycle insurance company applies different conditions and clauses to their coverage of your vehicle and use on the Track is no different. The MV Agusta Exhibition Day on Friday 20th at Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park is being run by BMMP under their standard track booking terms and conditions.
The event is being run by BMMP and will consist of 4 Groups with sessions scheduled to last approximately 20minutes each. There will be no mixing of Cars/Motorcycles on the track at any point in time. Groups (although the final order may vary):
- Porsche GT Cup Test
- Porsche GT Cup Test
- Porsche GT Cup Test
- MV Agusta Motorcycles
The MV Agusta Motorcycles Group will be run as an “Intermediate Group” and all BMMP conditions that apply to that class will apply and be complied with. Please note your signature of acceptance on the day at the track confirms this.
SATURDAY THE 21ST OF NOVEMBER – GROUP RIDE!
Group breakfast at Victoria’s Cafe 127 Tongariro Street. We will have parking for bikes right out in front of the Cafe. Sidestands up at 10 am for the Group ride.
Group Ride: Approx 4 hours and 30 mins starting with a ride down the lakeside and over the hill to Whakapapa for a photo opp. Continue up to Taumarunui, then back to Taupo via Benneydale, Whakamaru, Tihoi etc. Planned stops and the exact route will be discussed at the ride briefing after breakfast.
At the end of the ride, we will meet at the Two Bay Saling Club again for after ride refreshments. Then it’s back home to get cleaned up and group BBQ the MV HQ.
SUNDAY THE 22ND OF NOVEMBER
Group brunch (breakfast sounds far too early for a Sunday) 10am at Victoria’s Cafe 127 Tongariro Street, organise groups to ride back home.
